A real life wedding proposal captured…
Whilst travelling alone through Europe in August-October 2011, I made the decision that I would ask my long term girlfriend to marry me.
We had a trip planned to the USA throughout November and December, so I figured that would be the perfect time to do it. All I needed to do was to work out when and where and how could I capture it…
The place ended up being at sunset on 17th Novemember 2011 at Dante’s View in Death Valley National Park, California – USA (Don’t Let the name of the National Park put you off…its an amazing place!).
Here is a slideshow of ‘The Moment’. I used a tripod and set the camera to continuously fire. Danielle had NO idea of what I was up-to she was simply under the impression that I was wanting to take some portraits. I had done this same exercise earlier in the day, to again ensure she had no clue – I think that it is pretty evident in our choice of clothing haha.
