What a beautiful day! The bride’s dress is just stunning, and I love the portraits on the beach.
After having to cancel our planned early morning shoot due to torrential rain, we kept an eye on the weather and by late afternoon the skies had cleared up and the light was great.

A real life wedding proposal captured…
Whilst travelling alone through Europe in August-October 2011, I made the decision that I would ask my long term girlfriend to marry me.
We had a trip planned to the USA throughout November and December, so I figured that would be the perfect time to do it. All I needed to do was to work out when and where and how could I capture it…
The place ended up being at sunset on 17th Novemember 2011 at Dante’s View in Death Valley National Park, California – USA (Don’t Let the name of the National Park put you off…its an amazing place!).
Here is a slideshow of ‘The Moment’. I used a tripod and set the camera to continuously fire. Danielle had NO idea of what I was up-to she was simply under the impression that I was wanting to take some portraits. I had done this same exercise earlier in the day, to again ensure she had no clue – I think that it is pretty evident in our choice of clothing haha.
